The District Council of Barunga West is committed to improving its management of water, be it reticulated water, stormwater or waste water, for the benefit of its community.

Current Activites

Current activities include:

• Community Wastewater Management Scheme in two major towns (Bute and Port Broughton)
• Re-use of Community Wastewater Management Scheme water at Port Broughton on the Oval and Golf course
• Study of stormwater retention and re-use for Bute.
