Rebates
As part of the Water for Good plan to ensure our water future to 2050, the State Government launched the H2OME Rebate scheme in 2007. The scheme encourages South Australian households to achieve water savings in and around their home. It also extends to not-for-profit and charitable organisations for eligible indoor goods. More than 250,000 rebates worth $45 million have been granted on water efficient products.
What is the H2OME REBATE scheme?
H2OME REBATE is a water saving incentive scheme which helps householders to make wise water choices at home and in the garden, and assists them with the cost of water saving products.
Why do we need it?
South Australians have made an excellent effort to reduce their water use. We can all keep up the good work by understanding how much water we use in and around our homes and where.
The H2OME REBATE Scheme aims to save even more water by ensuring that as many householders as possible install water efficient products. Choosing water efficient products for your home can save you thousands of litres of water every year and many millions of litres across the community.
