The Premier of South Australia recently announced a Government restructure, placing an even greater emphasis on South Australia’s water resource management and water reform initiatives.
Effective 1 July 2010, South Australia has a new Department for Water, led by Scott Ashby as Chief Executive.

The Department for Water has updated its new series of River Murray inundation maps to reflect likely areas of inundation at peaks of 80,000 ML/day and 90,000 ML/day.
The maps provide an aerial view, in colour, of the areas along the river that are likely to be inundated at the stated peak flow rates.
The revised maps are now available at www.waterconnect.sa.gov.au.
